The Dancing Flame LED Candle takes 3 x AA alkaline batteries (not included) and features an on/off/timer switch with 4 hour timer option. Simply turn on/off as needed or use the timer mode to operate the candle during the same time every day. The lantern will illuminate for 4 hours and then will auto shut off to save its battery.
